Our Mares are good true to type mountain ponies, of a hardy, stocky conformation.They live
all year round on the hill,nearly all of them are homebred so most of them are under the old Gwauniarll prefix.
We like to see a bit of colour among our mares, although there are a few greys, there are also most
other colours too.

The six mares above are Maesbrook Hyderus' Harem for the 2009 season, having been sold by us
as a yearling, Gwauniarll Mary has recently returned to the stud after a stint with the RIVERSIDE RDA in West Yorkshire,
for which they have our sincere thanks.
